About Peggy Carty School of Deportment
The Peggy Carty School of Deportment is awarded with the EIQA Quality Certificate.
Established in 1961 as the first and only School of Deportment in Ireland. It combines physical culture, health education, and confidence building. Through unique and quality assured programmes the School is recognised for excellence, innovation and is dedicated to the continued and necessary need for self-improvement across all ages. The school is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children, teenagers and adults by providing quality education programmes that cultivate both the physical and mental attributes necessary to become a confident and competent individual. The primary objective of the school is to equip students with a strong sense of values, a coping mechanism that enables them to handle an ever-changing environment and the self-assurance to maximise abilities and reach their full potential.
The School caters for boys and girls from 4-12 years, 12-15 years, and ladies from 15-75 years.
While there are numerous finishing schools which
cultivate confidence and behaviour patterns and thousands of health and fitness institutes which foster exercise programmes, the Peggy Carty School of Deportment is the only institution in the world that combines both.
In 2008 the School was awarded with the EIQA Quality Certificate in recognition of a quality service.
